Dear Karen
I truly hope all is well with you and you are doing alright my friend. I am sorry I have not wrote before this, but I have been very busy trying to get a little help. As you know from your past experience dealing with this corrupt criminal justice system in America, it is very hard to get help because of the sheer number of innocent people that have been framed in this country.
Karen, I wanted to ask you if there s anyway that you could come to America and speak at the National Convention in Chicago, sometime in November this year. I will get the date and send it to you. I am in touch now with a grass roots chapter in Toledo, Ohio who also are starting a new chapter to end the death penalty. I spoke with them last week. I mentioned your name and they knew your name right away, you are quite popular here in the area of the death penalty, you are a wonderful speaker and a very intelligent woman.
Is there anyway that you could make it to the convention in Illinois this November and speak about Kenny's case as well as mine? I am certain that you would draw a crowd and people would flock to that convention to hear you speak about the death penalty.
Karen, you have done such a wonderful job on my case, you have done a lot of work and put in countless hours doing research and doing your own investigation on the issues and facts, and you would be great presenting my case and I
also believe that me having another execution date on November 29th, that it would be even more significant that your presence was there.
I understand there is problems with Kenny, I think that can be overcome simply by you as a person who has worked so hard for him, over ten years and put so much of yourself in that case, that you just want to see justice done for him, besides you have my case also Karen and I need your help my friend.
Please let me know if there is anyway that anyone could or would sponsor you coming here, I have you on my visiting list here at Youngstown, the visiting is a lot better as well. (smile)
Please forgive the typing errors Karen, I am using a loaner typewrite and I do not have any correction ribbon, so I have to cross everything out and it makes a mess of any letter. Anyway Karen, you take care and let me know as soon as you can if you can come to this convention or not, please take care of yourself and hang in there my friend.
Sincerely Yours
John Spirko.
