Can anyone visit a Death Row inmate or do you have to be family or a friend from before they were incarcerated?
Thank you
Pete

In Ohio you can visit providing the inmate puts you on his/her visiting list Peterp. You do not have to be related to the inmate or a long-term friend. Once on the list you then have to write to the prison requesting to visit, and they will reply tell ing you if your proposed visit has been approved. For further information on DR visits please read the other postings in this forum. .......MXB

At Manci you have to write to schecule a visit . At OSP you have to call to schedule a visit . The number to call is 1-330-743-0700 and listen to the menu and it tells you what number to push to get the visiting office ,which I believe is 4. You can call between the hours of 8:30am and 2:30pm Wednesday thru Sunday to schedule visits with a 3 day advance notice of visiting . They allow 2 adults and 1 child or 1 adult and 2 children for a total of 3 but do not allow 3 adult visitors because of the size of the booths . Hope this helps some .
